RAIN! and Inclement Weather including heat advisories above 90 degrees:
We love rain here in Sunny California. Unfortunately, we do not have a covered arena.
 

Rain: Unless otherwise contacted by Horse Sense Education and Advocacy rainy weather lessons are a "go."

We can teach in a dry clubhouse.

If we have a light drizzle, we continue lessons.  However, should the sky decide to give us loads more precious water than raincoat wearable showers, we tend to cancel.
Note: We are famous in 'these here' hills for on again, off again weather. Should the weather be confusing, we keep the lesson a "go" until half an hour before. If the rain starts up the teacher will contact you via phone to let you know of the cancellation.

You have questions about the rainy day policy, feel free to be in contact with the Horse Sense scheduler prior to your lesson for additional information. .

Little kids under age 9: Unless you like to ride in the puddles for a fun rain experience or want to learn those horsemanship lessons you don't usually get on sunny days, we completely understand your need to stay indoors. 
We will contact you to coordinate the day of with no cancellation fees applied.

Vacations or other plans subject to $10.00 change fee if notice moving to another date and time  less then 7 days of the lesson. 

Cancel within 7 days of scheduled lesson:  Please know we have to charge half the lesson fee if within the 7 days of the regularly scheduled lesson. 

Please do not cancel within 48 hours and or 8 Am day of and expect a refund. You will be charged for the full lesson amount. 

We schedule our days to be there for you.  Please respect our need to have a schedule. Consider your funds a donation so horses can continue to thrive in Felton for community enjoyment.
