Welcome to Horse Sense Education & Advocacy (HSEA). Our riding program operates separately from the nonprofit,
At Horse Sense, we believe in the healing, teaching, and transformative power of the horse-human connection. Based in Felton, California, we offer inclusive horsemanship programs, riding lessons, and community events for all ages.
Whether you're a first-time rider, a learner discovering the magic of horses, or advanced rider, you’ll find a place here to grow, connect, and thrive alongside our compassionate herd and caring instructors.
We invite you to explore our lessons/programs, attend one of our amazing events, and become part of our growing community.

English and Western riding lessons focused on trust, balance, and partnership. We teach safe, thoughtful horsemanship through connection for riders of all ages and levels.

We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to healing and connection through horses. Our programs serve youth, veterans, and families—empowering growth, trust, and compassion through education and partnership. Volunteer with us!

From monthly Horse Tales to parades and local fair outreach, we bring people and horses together with storytelling, learning, and celebration. Join us to experience the magic and connection that happens when community learns about what the herd is all about.

We proudly support veterans and local youth-where confidence and emotional growth flourish through meaningful connection.
We’re delighted to share Kristin’s interview with KBCZ Radio, where she dives into the mission of Horse Sense Education & Advocacy Nonprofit, the story of MyDun, The Hooves & Hearts Program, our Annual Wine & Whinnies Fundraiser, and how our community can come together to make a difference.
